Railroad Photography

Is the art, application, and practice of creating images of railroads by recording light by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of photographic film.

SteelRails latest post:

The street lights provide good lighting on this old Chessie System Steel Bay Window Caboose as it gets dark early here in Indiana on November 4, 2017 just before 8:00pm. Here I caught the CSX Evansville local tied down on the lead to downtown, waiting for a crew and a new day. The local uses whatever is available, this day the power was CSXT 1543 an EMD GP15-1 with Fruit Growers Express C-27A ex-C&O caboose CSXT 904138 tagging along for shoving moves through town.
